Just when you thought you couldn't keep up with all the British programs on Netflix (Sherlock, Broadchurch,Happy Valley, The Fall, The Hour, Hit and Miss, Women of Bletchley Circle,Last Tango in Halifax, Black Mirror etc) I chat with Rosalie Carew, Supervising Producer of X Company - about all the shows that have ALREADY been a hit on the other side of the pond! Some of these shows I heard of but many of them, I had no clue. There just isn't enough time!! Check out; The Street, New Tricks, Skins, Party Animals, Line of Duty, Glue and State of Play.
Rosalie also talks about why the Brits only write 3 or 6 episodes per season. It's bizarre but it makes perfect sense and it WORKS!

The Time Barrier by John Raymond is one of the best books that I've read in quite awhile. This needs to be a movie- I'm not kidding.
It reads like a script. If you like sci-fi..even if you don't ( I didn't think I was a sic-fi fan) you're going to love this page turner.
